Version 3.0. Effective date: October 26, 2026.

1. Controller and contact

Elizabeth Terán, operating under the trade name OpsImpact and publicly based in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, handles inquiries concerning personal data processed through this website and its services. Contact: contact@ops-impact.com.

2. Personal data and purposes

When you voluntarily contact us by email or WhatsApp Business, we may receive your name, company, email address, phone number and inquiry details. We use this information to respond to requests, organize conversations, prepare proposals, provide contracted services, issue invoices and comply with applicable legal obligations. During a project, clients may provide additional information governed by the relevant agreements.

This website does not currently provide a contact form or create a lead database through website forms.

3. Marketing communications

An inquiry by WhatsApp or email does not, by itself, subscribe you to promotional communications. We send marketing messages only where a valid legal basis exists and, when required, with the relevant consent. Promotional emails include an unsubscribe mechanism where applicable. We will not automatically import third-party lists or another company's contacts without verifying the relevant authorization.

4. Providers and transfers

To operate the website and manage communications, we use or may use website infrastructure and hosting providers (Cloudflare, as the planned permanent hosting), email (Google Workspace), messaging (WhatsApp Business, by Meta), and tools needed to deliver services. Some providers may process data outside Costa Rica. We apply reasonable safeguards and appropriate contractual protections where required.

5. Cookies, analytics and similar technologies

The website may use cookies and similar technologies strictly necessary for its operation, availability and security, depending on the hosting configuration. Before enabling analytics, advertising or other non-essential technologies, we will update this policy and implement consent measures where required. The cookies used and their duration depend on the services actually enabled.

6. Retention

Inquiries that do not result in a service engagement will be kept for up to 12 months after the last communication and then deleted or anonymized, unless a legal obligation or other valid reason requires longer retention. Elizabeth Terán will periodically review and manually delete messages whose retention period has expired, including accessible copies. Contract, billing and service records will be retained for periods required by applicable law.

7. Sensitive information

OpsImpact does not request medical information, sensitive financial information, passwords, or other special categories of personal information by email or WhatsApp. Please do not include such information in your messages.

8. Security

OpsImpact applies reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. These measures are reviewed as services evolve and do not constitute a guarantee of absolute security.

9. Your rights and requests

You may request access, correction, deletion and exercise other applicable rights, or withdraw consent when applicable, by emailing contact@ops-impact.com. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity before processing a request. We will respond in accordance with applicable legal obligations.

10. U.S. residents and minors

OpsImpact does not sell personal information or share inquiry data for cross-context behavioral advertising. OpsImpact does not knowingly request sensitive personal information. The website is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. Additional rights provided under applicable U.S. state privacy laws will be respected where those laws apply.

11. External links

The website may contain links to WhatsApp, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. Data processing on these external platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies.
